This is a super functional, adorable earring holder and super easy if you have these 5 materials:
Frame (I bought mine at a local thrift store for $0.25)
Wire Cutters
Chicken Wire (small squares)
Paint
& Possibly a 6th... hangers (if not included on the frame)
Start by removing anything besides the outside of the frame. Make sure that there is a lip to glue the chicken wire onto inside of the frame.
Before going any further, paint your frame so that you do not get paint onto the chicken wire once your done.
Measure the dimensions of the opening including the small lip so that the chicken wire is large enough to fit inside and not fall out.
Using the measurements, cut your chicken wire and place it into the back of the frame.
To make sure that the chicken wire is secure, use a hot glue gun around the lip.
The chicken wire may bulge a little bit out of the frame but that is actually very helpful because then the back of your earrings will not scratch the wall that it is hung on.
Here is the finished product!
Let me know what you think :)
