DIY Tinsel Christmas Tree for around $14 for all 3!
I thought of this idea when strolling through Target over Thanksgiving break. I saw mini christmas trees that would be great for my room at college but I decided I wanted to do something a little more creative :)
This is a perfect craft for the holidays and the quantity and color can be customized to what you want!
Materials:
Tinsel - Target $3.50
Large cone - Michael's or a Craft Store $6.99
(I used a 50% off coupon so it was $3.50)
Medium Cone - Michael's or a Craft Store $3.99
Small Cone - Michael's or a Craft Store $2.99
Scissors
Hot Glue Gun
Start by plugging in your hot glue gun!
Push the metal spine of the tinsel into the tip of the cone and reinforce with hot glue. Wrap the tinsel around the cone spacing it out about 1 inch to 1 1/2 inches apart and again, reinforcing it with hot glue until you get to the bottom of the cone. Snip the end and hot glue the mental spine and your done with one tree!
Repeat the these steps for the other two trees.
Tada!
Now you have adorable tinsel Christmas trees to decorate any room or table for the holidays!
