D.I.Y. Under $5 Cross Scarf

I'm sure you have seen the cross trend for the spring. Its all over Nordstroms, F21, Top Shop, Mod Cloth, Etc... Well I LOVE it, but for such a better reason than most people. I think of it as a symbol that serves as a reminder of what Christ did for us on the cross.

How cool is it that you could possibly spread the gospel through a piece of clothing or trend?!

Lets get started :)

Look a-likes:

Nordstroms                                       Nectar Clothing
$18                                                        $15

Materials:
Knife or Exact-o Blade
Potato
(or cross stamp)
Sharpie
Acrylic Black Paint
White scarf ($3 - Walmart)

1. Draw your cross on the face of the potato with a Sharpie.

2. Cut out the outside of the sharpie lines.

3. Make sure you shave down the cross so that it is flat across the surface that you will be painting.

4. Apply paint and apply to scarf.

Press firmly and lift directly off the scarf so that your lines are clean.

Continue adding crosses in a pattern or randomly over your scarf!

My favorite way to wear this is to tie the ends together to make it into an infinity scarf but
there are so many possibilities :)

Let me know what you think!
