DIY Peter Pan Collar

Because of the craziness of moving back to GCC, I have been a little behind on my blogging... but I have something awesome to share with you that is worth the wait!

This DIY is a perfect accessory to make even a t shirt look classy. It is super cheap and doesn't take much time at all. Here are a few examples of the Peter Pan Collar.

Materials:
Felt
Needle & Thread
Button
Yarn, String, or a ribbon
Pattern
Scissors

Start by printing out a pattern that you like, here is the link to the one I used: Scalloped Peter Pan Pattern.

Place it on the felt and staple it in place so that it doesn't move

Next, cut out the felt and remove the patter.
Repeat this process to make a second side of the collar - you can use the same pattern as the first one.

With this black collar, I decided to use a black button, but you can choose whatever color you would like.

Near the top end of your collar, punch a whole through the felt and tie a ribbon, piece of yarn, or string.
(Sorry! I forgot to take a picture of that step.)

Here is a picture of a white one that I made with a gold button in the middle.

Let me know what you think!
