DIY Acid Wash Jeans

Were gonna start this DIY with a quick story.

Last week, my best friend Zoe and I went to American Eagle to look for jeans and I found this great pair of light wash, edgy skinny jeans but they were $23... don't get me wrong, thats not that expensive for jeans that will last you a few years but why buy them when you could DIY them. << This is me giving Zoe credit for this idea >>

After a bunch of research on the internet and watching a few youtube videos, I decided I was up to try this trend out for the fall. Although I don't have a step by step process for you to follow - your best bet is simply watching youtube videos and watching how to do it.

Materials:
Bucket
Bleach ($3 at Rite Aid)
Jeans (Thrifted for $1)

Before

After

I decided to embrace the edginess of the jeans by adding studded combat boots, a leather jacket (thrifted) and a blingy choker (antique), but here are some other ideas of how you can rock these jeans!

Hope you go out on a limb and try this statement piece :)

"You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent.
LORD my God, I will praise you forever."
-Psalm 30:11-12
