D.I.Y. Adorable Vintage Suitcase Redo

We have all seen those hardtop suitcases or toiletry cases at antique stores or thrift stores but how do you make that ugly color suitcase into a cute and functional accessory???
Well I am going to show you!

Suitcases are a great way to add storage and a charming accessory to a room! They range in prices but I can usually find them for around $5 or less at thrift stores. An easy way to make them cute is by simply using paint but below I have found a few other ways to customize your suitcase.

This cute toiletry case is something that was brown and I painted it an egg shell blue. I now use it in my dorm to keep all my beauty supplies in! Talk about functional and adorable.

The paint I used is called Annie Sloan Paint. It is chalk paint and covers any surface and usually with only one coat!  I may do a blogpost just about this product because it is THAT good!

Here is another way to redo a suitcase that I found online.
You can make just about anything a piece of art!

No how-to but LOVE the vinyl decal of the bird on the suitcase

Put a simple decal on it!
I think it would be so cute to add your monogram :)

Stripes, patterns, colors. There are so many options!

Definitely one of my favorites!

Hope you all enjoyed!
