These were originally long pants that I turned into shorts, then cut and distressed. The way I learned was just my making mistakes and learning from them for the next pair, but YouTube is a great way to learn. Here is a video that has tutorials on how to cut many styles of jean shorts.
Materials:
Jeans or Jean Shorts
Studs (any size, color, shape)
Studs can be purchased online at StudsandSpikes.com, Etsy, or Ebay.
This is a self-explanatory DIY because all you have to do is place the studs where you want them! As you can see, I put my on the inside of the pocket and on the opposite back pocket. Get creative and make up your own design or look up some ideas on the internet.
