“The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.”
Psalm 37:23-24
I love it when God, so obviously, leads the steps your path. Whether it is little things or big things, it is such a comfort knowing that your path is lead by the God of the universe who knows you better than you know yourself.
Recently, I visited Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia to check out their Occupational Therapy Program for my masters. Although the thought of a somewhat medical profession makes me nervous, the thought of being able to change someones life in that way completely overrides all those negative feelings. In the next few months to a year, I will be applying, getting prerequisites, hours for observations, etc. and to say that it stresses me out to do all of that as well as finish my undergrad is a BIG understatement. Luckily God has given me a passionate and persistent personality so I will definitely be putting 100% of myself into this process.
So back to God directing your path... as I drove home from Winchester a few weeks ago, I was thinking about how in the world I was going to fit in 40+ hours of observation with an OT or PT as well as make some money this summer. When I got home, I went straight to my computer to check my email and the first thing I see is an email about a missions trip to the Dominican Republic with Grove City College Students in May where I could work alongside PTs/OTs in a clinical setting. It was like God was spoon-feeding me an opportunity to get out of my comfort zone and serve Him through doing something that I have become so passionate about!

In order to get to go to the DR I need to save about $1,500 in the next few months... seems crazy for a college student who is already managing 2 jobs, taking 18 credits, running a tiny business on Etsy, lacrosse, dance, Orientation Board, and a social life. BUT, as I found out last semester when I was raising money for my nephew (Christmas Cause), God multiplied my time and efficiency and by His strength I raised $500 in 3 weeks and made 50 cowls.
This time I am doing something similar, but any purchases made through my Etsy or personal orders will go directly to saving for my trip!
Here are the products:
Grove City College Students can get their ear warmer for $10.
Please email me your bow color and headband color.

Any sort of support would be SO appreciated whether it is an order or a prayer. I will be sure to keep you all updated on the trip as we prepare!
Thank you!
